Paws 2 Purrfection

Hello Fellow Pet lover…….

Let me introduce myself, my name is Nicola Millerchip and I am the founder of Paws 2 Purrfection. As a lifelong pet lover, I understand how important your pets are to you and the care and attention they need.  Paws to Purrfection was founded to provide professional Dog Walking and Pet Services.   I took the opportunity to launch Paws 2 Purrfection to satisfy a long held desire to work with animals and to provide a top class service to local dog and pet owners.

After spending many years juggling my dogs, cats, tortoises later the children and fitting in work, I fully understand the difficulties in owning dogs and other pets and running a busy work and home life - Paws 2 Purrfection was created to allow your dog to have exercise, fun and stimulation on a regular basis with no added worries for you.

I have owned dogs all my life, many breeds from labradors, spaniels and crossbreeds to Pugs and Toy Poodles. My current dogs are Poppy who is a white Toy Poodle and rescue dog, and there is Daisy a Pug who is entering the show ring. I also own a 2 Siamese Mist and Sparkle and a lap cat called Sally she is a neutered female who we fell in love with at a farm and came away with more than just eggs! Last but by no means least we have the 3 tortoises, Stella, Harriet and Lazy.  I don’t feel this is the end of our family of fun, I’m sure there is more to come!!!

I am also experienced in the keeping of small animals including rabbits, hamsters. Gerbils, tortoise, giant land snails, gecko, tarantula, guinea pigs, canaries and budgies, Hens and fish both indoor and out.

When I was 18 with my first pay packet (as it was in the day) I brought my first Persian Cat and from there on spent the next 10 years breeding blue cream persian kittens. In the future I am going to breed with Daisy – so watch this space.

Poppy had one litter of Puppies many years ago but the labour was so difficult for her she had a terrible time the poor thing she was on a drip and needed a caesarean we had her neutered at the same time as I would never expect her to go through that again she is so lovely.

My grandmother owned a small holding so I grew up with animals and grew up with respect and love for them and I was lucky enough to live next door but one from a neighbour who owned a farm and use to spend my time helping out with chickens and farm animals.  When I was 13 I began selling Free Range Eggs round the houses in the local streets which earned me my pocket money.  I later got married, had 3 adorable children worked fulltime as a Business Administrator however, my son was ill and spent many months in hospital i had know option but to give up work, as family & pets all became increasingly difficult to juggle. I have since worked part time as a Cookery Teacher and Customer Advisor, fitting jobs around my family to create a life balance.  The children are all happy healthy and at school so I felt the time was right to launch Paws 2 Purrfection.
